The rosé wine Rosé Sicilia DOC, vintage 2020 from the winery Planeta has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nero d’Avola, Syrah from the region Sicily in Italy.
Bright, delicate dusky pink. Fine and fragrant nose that opens with notes of strawberry and raspberry, also some sour cherry. Fresh on the palate, lots of juicy fruit of peach and strawberry and racy acidity. Very good drinking flow, an ideal partner for a warm summer evening.
