The red wine Il Caberlot IGT, vintage 2011 from the winery Podere Il Carnasciale has been rated in 2015 with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear ruby purple colour. Opens with slightly earthy notes of beetroot, then fleshy berry fruit, especially cassis and elderberry, profound, also some cardamom and white pepper. Dense and vivid on the palate, plays beautifully with juicy ripe fruit, builds up full, dense tannins, coated with a beautiful texture, long finish.
