The red wine Il Caberlot IGT, vintage 2014 from the winery Podere Il Carnasciale has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Caberlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep ruby colour with purple glints. Opens with emphatic spicy notes, of black pepper and bay leaves, wild and boisterous, with elderberries and cassis, tobacco. On the palate amazingly complex and intense, showing plump, dense fruit. Unfolds with finely meshed tannin, in the finish lots of elderberries.
