Dark, intense ruby with rich purple. Initially shows fine toasted notes, roasted hazelnuts, then emphasizes SAVOURY notes, tomato leaves and ivy, finally a lot of currant. On the palate lots of pithy tannin, builds richly, lots of tobacco, fresh currant, very long.
