The red wine Vigna Cappella di Santo Stefano Barolo DOCG, vintage 2008 from the winery Podere Rocche dei Manzoni has been rated in 2012 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Rich, bright ruby colour with a slight garnet rim. Initially appears quite closed, opens tentatively with notes of plum and raspberry. Very compact on the palate, deep, opens with savoury, gripping tannins, builds for a long time, still a little rough on the finish, still needs ageing.
