The red wine Vigna Cappella di Santo Stefano Barolo DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery Podere Rocche dei Manzoni has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Dark, rich garnet red with slight brightening on the edges. Sublime nose studded with tones of ripe dark elderberry and blackberry, subtle wood notes. Harmonious continuation of the nose on the palate, rich ripe fruit, very finely woven tannins supported by balanced acidity, firm drive and long finish.
