Tasting Notes
It has a dark ruby colour, with an opaque core, purple reflections, and a delicate bright rim. There is a lovely tobacco savouriness, as well as hints of blackberry, notes of liquorice, some cassis, and underlaid with orange zest. It is juicy, elegant, with a good tannin structure, blackcurrant, a fine complexity, supporting tannins, and nougat on the aftertaste. It is multi-layered food wine.
More about the tastingDeep dark ruby, opaque core, purple glints, faintly lighter at the rim. Elegant spiced wood, nuances of liquorice and black forest berries, tobacco, underlaid with candied orange zest. Very powerful, full-bodied, fruit expression, lush black sweetheart cherries, vibrancy, supportive tannins, nougat on the finish. Very youthful, with a potential to develop for many years to come.
