The red wine Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Salcheto has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Colorino from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red. Expressive and inviting nose of blood oranges, rich cherries and a hint of cold smoke, with a multi-layered aftertaste of rich raspberries and slightly meaty notes. Round and harmonious on the palate, a savoury core, with tension and juice, powerful finish.
