The red wine Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Salcheto has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich ruby with slight brightening on the rim. Clearly marked nose with fine notes of fresh cherries, some violets, underpinned by cloves. Polished, finely meshed tannins characterise the palate, showing juicy fruit and a firm drive on the finish.
