The red wine Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Salcheto has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliantly shiny garnet red. Rich savoury notes of rosemary, black olive and cedar on the nose, followed by ripe blueberry and cassis. Fills the mouth completely, presents itself as full-bodied, with interwoven tannin, good structure, compact, pithy, with a certain persistence on the finish.
