The red wine Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Salcheto has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Colorino from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark ruby red. Expressive and fragrant nose, with notes of rosehip, pomegranate, blood oranges, plus red berries, wild berry cordial, mint and balsamic notes. The palate is polished and juicy, with clear a fruit core wrapped in precisely placed tannins, good use of wood, great length.
