The red wine Operaundici Montescudaio DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Sator has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo, Teroldego from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear garnet with copper accents on the rim. Opens with an intense aroma of cherry confit and roasted plums, then almost bloody, candied oranges and oregano. Pithy on the palate, interwoven tannins, underpinned by fresh acidity, ripe, clear use of wood, with an eccentric finish.
