The sekt Blanc de Blancs extra brut, vintage 2023 from the winery Schmidt am Bodensee has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Lemon yellow in colour with classic mousse. The aroma is initially of pure lemon zest, followed by pine needles, attractive undergrowth and blossom. Very ripe fruit on the palate, balanced by lively acidity with a modern finish. A good accompaniment to food.
