Dark ruby, purple reflections and a slightly watery edge. Hints of Milka milk chocolate, subtle herbal savouriness, cherry compote and a touch of floral. Powerful and intense on the palate, some sweetness, firm round tannins, fully ripe plums, velvety and somewhat flinty. Still much too young and needs at least another ten years of bottle maturation.
