The red wine Rosso del Conte Rosso Contea di Sclafani DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Tasca d’Almerita has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nero d’Avola, Perricone from the region Sicily in Italy.
Rich, flint ruby with a slight purple tinge. Multilayered nose, rich notes of ripe plum, some blueberry, background of cedar and resin. Juicy and round on the palate, spreads out with powerful, well-integrated tannin, unfolds generously, firm drive, long and firm.
