The red wine Tenuta Regaleali Rosso del Conte Sicilia DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Tasca d’Almerita has been rated in 2024 by Otmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nero d’Avola, Perricone from the region Sicily in Italy.
Bright, rich ruby. Compact nose with notes of wild raspberries and blueberries, plus some blood orange and cloves. Shows an emphatically pithy character on the palate, grippy tannins, dark berryish fruit and plenty of tension, earthy notes on the finish, currently still a little rough, but good ageing potential.
