The red wine Cavalli IGT, vintage 2010 from the winery Tenuta degli Dei has been rated in 2014 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep, dark, impenetrable ruby purple in colour. Opens with intense herbal notes on the nose, then lots of liquorice, cassis and dark chocolate. Gripping and powerful on the palate, it builds up with full, firm tannins and a beautiful savouriness, before the long finish with salty components.
