Tasting from 14.02.2019: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Bright, intense ruby with a fine garnet gleam. It opens with pronounced spicy notes, with pickled walnuts, oregano, then fleshy fruit. Also on the palate spicy notes, showing its own style, with grippy tannins, and is a little flat on the back palate.
