The red wine Cavalli Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2017 from the winery Tenuta degli Dei has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby colour. Complex nose with accentuated spicy notes, lots of cardamom, some liquorice, followed by black cherry and blackberry. A plethora of juicy fruit on the palate, fresh cherry and grippy tannins that appear somewhat brittle on the finish.
