The red wine Palazzi IGT, vintage 2012 from the winery Tenuta di Trinoro has been rated in 2015 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear, dense ruby purple in colour. A very finely drawn nose with notes of coriander seed, pomegranate and blackberry, very clear and inviting. Dense and vivid on the palate, it shows bags of ripe fruit with sweet texture, before dense tannin take hold. There's lots of tobacco on the finish, which has a juicy aftertaste despite the high alcohol content.
