The red wine Oreno, vintage 2008 from the winery Tenuta Sette Ponti has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich ruby with a slight garnet rim. Opens on the nose with spicy notes of undergrowth, some cardamom and cedar wood, also juniper berry, followed by dark berries. Dense and grippy on the palate, builds wonderfully and lingers for a long time.
