The red wine Oreno, vintage 2016 from the winery Tenuta Sette Ponti has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem with 99 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark, intense ruby and light garnet shimmer. Very precisely defined nose, shows lots of dark, juicy currants, with some tar and cardamom notes in the background. Develops magnificently on the palate, blossom, lots of fine, compact tannins, salty, long and complex, the wine of the evening!
