The red wine Oreno, vintage 2009 from the winery Tenuta Sette Ponti has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich ruby red with a fine garnet sheen. Slight savoury aromas of resin when wet, lots of dark berry fruit, inviting. Grippy, very dense tannins on the palate, firm and full-bodied, extremely round and fine as it progresses.
