The red wine Oreno, vintage 2017 from the winery Tenuta Sette Ponti has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear, rich ruby. Opens with distinctly savoury components of cardamom and white pepper, followed by plenty of elderberry. Powerful, structured tannins, builds up plenty of drive, only appears somewhat encapsulated on the finish.
