The red wine Oreno, vintage 2019 from the winery Tenuta Sette Ponti has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich ruby red. Expressive and inviting on the nose, notes of ripe strawberry and red currant, a hint of raspberry jam, carried by nuances of oak and cigar box. Very polished on the palate, opens up in the mouth with a delicate creaminess and velvety tannin, with generous savouriness and fruit at its core, showing considerable juiciness in the back end and thus traction, great length and elegance.
