The red wine Redigaffi IGT, vintage 2001 from the winery Tua Rita has been rated in 2006 with Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep color, violet reflections. Unconventional oxidative notes on the nose, raisins, nuances of tangerine peel and coconut, ethereal hints. Full-bodied on the palate, like drinking chocolate, again very independent aromas, sweet and thick, mineral, delicate raisins and oranges on the finish, lots of matter, probably aromas of American wood on the finish - I thought maybe a Spanish or Californian.
