Intense, brilliant ruby with a slight purple tinge. Opens with notes of fine herbs, then lush blackberries, plus undergrowth and cardamom. Taut and rich tannic structure, spreads out powerfully, lots of vivid dark berry fruit, fine earthy tones, firm drive on the finish.
