The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva DOC, vintage 2006 from the winery Valentina Cubi has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella from the region Valpolicella in Italy.
Brilliant, rich garnet red. Shows already a very developed nose with accentuated ripe notes, opens with aromas of pickled walnuts, some raisins, then roasted chestnuts and molasses. Soft and round at the front, in the back then clear wood savouriness comes to bear, finishes quite rough.
