The white wine Sottocastello Bianco FCO DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Vigna Traverso has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Rich, bright yellow-green. Very appealing nose with notes of fresh peach, some mango, beeswax in the background. Builds up nicely on the palate, firm energy, lots of yellow fruit, fine caramel notes on the finish.
