The white wine Sauvignon Friuli Colli Orientali DOC, vintage 2024 from the winery Vigna Traverso has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Bright straw yellow with greenish reflections. Intense and complex on the nose with fresh citrus notes, accompanied by nettle and elderflower, white peaches and exotic fruits such as papaya. Very fresh on the palate with a racy acidity, again citrus dominated with melon and hints of sage. Warming on the finish.
