The red wine Errázuriz Don Maximiano Founder’s Reserve, vintage 2006 from the winery Viña Errazuriz has been rated in 2012 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Aconcagua Valley in Chile.
Dark ruby colour, purple reflections, delicate bright rim. Blackberry confit underlaid with fine toasty aromas, ripe cherry, a hint of dried fruit, with fine oaky aromas in the background, a multi-faceted bouquet. Juicy, ripe, sweet wild berry confit, well-integrated tannins, remains very well integrated. It is already well developed, very accessible, with full-bodied fruit, and sweet spices on the finish.
