The red wine Errazuriz Don Maximiano Founder’s Reserve, vintage 2013 from the winery Viña Errazuriz has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Aconcagua in Chile.
Strong garnet colour with ochre reflections, brighter a the broad rim. Fine nuances of candied orange zest and ripe plum, sweet tobacco and liquorice: a multi-faceted bouquet, with a fine note of blackcurrant. Juicy, elegant and with fine fruit expression and fine tannins. Already well matured. Has reached a first drinking peak and shows very good freshness and length – a Chilean classic.
