The red wine Errazuriz Kai, vintage 2017 from the winery Viña Errazuriz has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Carmenère from the region Aconcagua in Chile.
Dark garnet with a deep core, purple reflections and subtle edge brightening. Delicately floral dark cherry fruit, subtle vanilla and fine oak savouriness, raspberry, some cassis, and hints of mandarin zest. Juicy, elegant, silky-sweet textured palate, with ripe supporting tannins, some nougat and dark minerality on the finish. A wine of medium concentration and an equally good finish. Already easy to drink.
