The red wine Errázuriz La Cumbre, vintage 2008 from the winery Viña Errazuriz has been rated in 2012 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Aconcagua Valley in Chile.
Dark ruby garnet, deep color core, violet reflections. Intense, fresh dark berry fruit, a hint of nougat, delicate notes of licorice and blackberry jelly, fine floral nuances. Full-bodied, good complexity, fine dark forest berry confit, very good, fine tannins, ripe cherry fruit in the aftertaste, lingers for a long time, an elegant food companion with secure ageing potential.
