Strong ruby garnet, firm core, delicate ochre reflections, broad rim brightening. Intense black berry fruit, attractive cassis, ethereal nuances, pleasant wood spice, cedary touch. Full-bodied, pleasant blackberry confit, present, supporting tannins, shows good complexity, fine acidity, sweet ripe berry fruit, characterized by the warm vintage, is somewhat broad.
