Intense herbal notes, chocolaty wood – powerful palate. Silky and full, with sandy, ripe tannins that dominate the mid-palate and then release fruit and juiciness into the finish. A full-bodied but not rough wine. Mild, well-integrated acidity and plenty of suppleness behind the phenolics. A hint of lime over everything.
