The white wine »Superior« Weißer Burgunder trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Andreas Diehl has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
A clear phenolic note on the nose, notes of apple skin and caraway, not much in the way of primary fruit. On the palate, the "Superior" is just as pointed, but loosely knit with a light touch of wood and apple phenolics. A good food wine.
