Tasting Notes

91+
Tasting from 13.09.2024: Ulrich Sautter

A warm, spicy nose forms the prelude, before floral notes and a fruit between walnut, crab apple and lemon peel appear. On the palate, the vivid acidity provides plenty of freshness. At the same time, the wine is smooth and supple without any sharp edges. A very mature product, vinified in a linear fashion. Less intended for fans of yellow sweet wines, but all the better with fish dishes ranging from herring to plaice.
