The sweet and dessert wine Wehlen Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese, vintage 1992 from the winery Weingüter Wegeler – Gutshaus Rheingau has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Golden yellow in colour with greenish reflections. A delicate nose that reflects the terroir! Slate, saffron and oyster. On the palate, the wine has a beautiful texture, an almost dry impression and a disarming lightness. With its subtle sweetness, it is almost austere. Old school, but at its best!
