The white wine »Austernkalk« Scheurebe trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Achenbach, mein Bioweingut has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Scheurebe from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Precise fruit on the nose, crunchy gooseberry and blackcurrant, a little mint on the side. A steely and self-confident acidity sets the tone on the palate, lean and taut, animating and fresh, with mineral colouring and good charisma.
