Tasting Notes
Scents of sour cherry, mint, blackcurrant, tobacco, and liquorice. Very smooth onset with a plump mouthfeel which makes the considerable amount of tannins seem rather coarse. Powerful mineral components persist for a long time.
More about the tastingRipe berry fruit on the nose and noticeable alcohol. Then much fresher on the palate, not at all overripe, but even with a cool fruit of blueberry, sour cherry and eucalyptus. Beautiful tension, homely but with a view to the far horizon.
