The red wine »Premier Vin« Syrah, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Axel Bauer has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Baden in Germany.
Still slightly smoky on the nose, with notes of dried meat and cranberry. On the palate, the wine exhibits density with a firm but ripe tannin structure, seamlessly integrated acidity and a fruity palate that is still closed but already hinting at its ageing potential. Finally salty and mineral. An individual type of terroir handled with flair.
