The red wine »Premier Vin« Syrah trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Axel Bauer has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Baden in Germany.
Declared as a ‘Landwein’ from Baden, savoury and balsamic on the nose with a substantial amount of oak spice lurking behind the ripe fruit - blackcurrant and blackberry. A bold structure on the palate, fine, with lively fruit-infused acidity and markedly extracted tannins. Good density, vinified for longevity.
