The white wine »Höhenluft« Sauvignon blanc trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Bernhard Ellwanger has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Yellow fruit initially on the nose, ripe gooseberry, apricot, pear, elderberry and yellow apple, some honeydew melon. The ripeness of the fruit is picked up on the palate by the typical freshness from 2021, showing a lot of "mountain air". Lean and compact, salted lemon and fine tartness emerge. Fun to drink.
