Woody spice on the nose, with roasted pine nuts, fresh lemons, red apple and apricots. Honeydew melon and yeasty notes also emerge with air. Full-bodied on the palate with plenty of tension thanks to the juicy, ripe acid structure and well-integrated but noticeable use of wood. Pithy phenolics help create good density. Has certain ageing potential.
