Toasted notes on the nose underlie elderberry pulp, cassis, menthol and forest blueberry.The palate is softly built and plump, with a tannin structure that seems restrained at first but then begins to build quantity with a grainy grip but without astringency. Very dry, and full of certain ageing potential.
