The red wine Stuttgart Mönchhalde Syrah trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut der Stadt Stuttgart has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Some chocolate and nougat on the nose, then camphor and eucalyptus emerge. It's very dense on the palate with mellow tannins and an initially mild acidity which then gains some piquancy. Juicy and sinewy in the mouth with a medium depth of aroma and flavour.
