The red wine Stuttgarter Mönchhalde Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut der Stadt Stuttgart has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Württemberg in Germany.
The nose is still dominated by a dose of new wood, plus cherry and rosehip, dark chocolate, ink and smoke. Strongly built and well-balanced Pinot Noir, shows power and strong tannins in good quantity, slight astringency, ripe acidity, vinified for certain ageing potential, good development prospects.
