Tasting Notes
Clear, medium yellow with a subtle green tinge. Very clear, fresh, still restrained and "green" nose, characterised by the typical smoky Pechstein minerality, with fine fruity Riesling aromas with increasing oxygen contact. Very elegant and full of finesse on the palate, with a marvellous salty minerality and plenty of interplay, making it appear quite delicate and light-footed. But this wonderfully purist wine, which flows over the tongue without any baroque flourishes, has tremendous substance, tingles the mucous membranes and is therefore wonderfully animating and eternally mineral. A great Mittelhaardt Riesling in the classic style.
