The white wine Forst Kirchenstück Riesling GC, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Dr. Bürklin-Wolf has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Barrel sample. Very closed on the nose, some warm stone, glue and liquorice. On the palate broad, soft and substantial, immensely rich and homogeneous in structure, but, at the same time, also finely chiselled. Unbelievably young, yet at ease with itself, shimmering in its minerality, lively with fine-limbed acidity. Long and noble.
